Craving Hack: GF, V, DF Pasta Penne Alfredo

Eat this instead! If there's anyone that appreciates time-saving, healthier-but-just-as-delicious dinner hacks it's me. In this recipe I use a couple of my favorite DF, GF, V brands that in my personal opinion are the best out there! The kids don't know...

Ancient Harvest POW!® Pasta Gluten Free Green Lentil Penne Pasta

Daiya, Alfredo Style Deluxe Cheese Sauce

Gardein Grilled "Chicken", OR Gardein Meatless Meatballs

Fresh Diced Heirloom Tomatoes

Fresh Spinach Leaves, as Preferred

This is seriously too easy. Prepare pasta according to package directions in boiling water with a pink of Himalayan Pink Sea Salt. You can use the pasta water to heat the sauce packet for the Alfredo Sauce. While all that's brewing, take this time to chop some pretty-colored heirloom tomatoes and parsley, and heat your protein choice according to package directions.

Drain pasta when it's tender. Gluten Free pasta tends to overcook quickly--don't take your eye off of it! Stir in pasta sauce, chopped tomatoes and spinach leaves, as well as protein choice. Voila!
